The gene expression regulation system of the PCC 7942 includes a PCC 7942 cell, agene expression interference unit and a gene editing unit. The present disclosure alsorelates to a method for regulating a gene expression of the PCC 7942. The methodincludes providing the PCC 7942 cell, using the gene editing unit to insert an exogenousgene into the PCC 7942 cell, and using the gene expression interference unit to inhibit anexpression of a target gene.
