摘要：An air separator () comprises a first chamber () where blood or other fluid canbe received, an inlet and an outlet port associated to the bottom wall () and in fluidcommunication with the first chamber. A first channel () extending along the lateral wall
of the separator and has a first and a second portion ( and ). The channel second portion() terminally forms an orifice () facing the chamber and extending in an area closer to atop wall () of the chamber () than to the bottom wall of the same chamber. The orificefaces the top of the separator and has a flow passage cross section greater than that of afirst portion () of the channel.
