What differences would you expect? 2) What are the main differences between these two hotels? 3) What does the interior look like, do you think? 4) Which one would you like to work at most? Why? IV New Lecture Step Two: Starter 1. The teacher would ask the student to identify the photos of hotel facilities, using the words in the box. The teacher would explain the difficult points to the students if there is any. 2. The students are given ten minutes to read the words and sentences by themselves and inquire the teacher or other students if meeting any difficulty in pronouncing or understanding. 3. The teacher would ask the students to read the words and sentences by volunteering or picking their numbers at random. Step Three: Practice the sample dialogues in the textbook. 1. Ask the students to read aloud the dialogues in pairs. (First volunteer, and then call the students’ numbers) 2. Do some explanations if necessary and then let the students practice the difficult sentences after the teacher. 3. The teacher summarize disabled facilities for students. Step Four: Working with words and polite responses 1. First, the teacher would ask students questions: Imagine you work at Seashore Hotel. There are people calling to ask questions about your hotel. So, does your hotel have a swimming pool? 2. The teacher would ask some pairs to act out their dialogue in front of the class. 3. Give comments and advices to improve the students’ dialogues. 4.
