摘要：A ceramic filter includes: a porous body () having a plurality of main flow paths ()extending from one end face () to the other end face () of the body, and filtrationmembranes () arranged on the inner wall surfaces of the main flow paths (). Slit-shapedauxiliary flow paths () are formed in predetermined portions so that specific main flow
paths () are communicated with an external space. Openings of the specific flow paths ()at both end faces () are sealed. Fluid to be purified that flows into the filter from firstopening portions () of the main flow paths () is purified by permeating it inside the porousbody (). The fluid is then taken out as purified fluid from an outer peripheral surface () ofthe porous body () and exits () of the auxiliary flow paths (). The filter is characterized inthat membrane thicknesses (x, x) of filtration membranes of adjacent main flow paths ()are greater than membrane thicknesses (y, y, y) of filtration membranes of an inner mainflow path (). The ceramic filter can be used for a long period, and a deposit on the filtercan be easily removed by counter flow washing.
