每当我们坐在宽敞明亮的教室聆听老师讲课的时候，谁还能想起我们现在和平、安宁的生活是多么地来之不易，谁还能想起在那些战火纷飞的年代，国家动荡、百姓颠沛流离、又有多少抗战英雄为了捍卫祖国献出了宝贵的生命。
Whilst[waɪlst] sitting in the bright[braɪt] and spacious['speɪʃəs] classroom I often wonder['wʌndə] how many of us have actually['æktʃuəli] given a thought[θɔːt] to those people who in the past have given their lives[laɪvz] to the cause[kɔːz] of resistance[rɪ'zɪst(ə)ns] against[ə'geɪnst] foreign['fɒrɪn] invasion [ɪn'veɪʒ(ə)n] to bring us the happy and peaceful['piːsfʊl] life many of us experience[ɪk'spɪərɪəns] today in modern['mɒd(ə)n] China.

thousands['θaʊz(ə)nds] of children['tʃɪldrən] became[bɪ'keɪm] homeless['həʊmlɪs] and lost[lɒst] their happy childhood['tʃaɪldhʊd].
如今，我们的国家日益强盛，奥运会成功的举办、神州飞船顺利的发射与返航、9月3日的阅兵仪式更令世人震憾。而我做为一名新一代人，祖国未来的建设者，心中已怀着崇高的理想，我希望长大能成为一名建筑设计师，从小我就对绘画有着浓厚的兴趣，我想要成为一名建筑设计师首先要有扎实的绘画功底。平时一做完作业，我就会拿起画笔，画一些自己想象中的大房子，而且更要学好数学，我喜欢那些变幻莫测的数字。不仅如此，还要多阅读一些课外书籍，掌握和积累丰富的课外知识，开拓思路，培养自己敏锐的观察力，来不断提高自己的艺术修养和艺术水平。虽然离通往理想的道路还很遥远，但我坚信一分耕耘，就有一分收获，只要朝着目标不断努力终有一天我会为一名优秀的建筑设计师，设计出无数既美观

Today[tə'deɪ], our motherland['mʌðəlænd] stands[stændz] out[aʊt] as a world leader['liːdə] in many fields['fiːldz], we had the honor[ˈɒnə] of hosting['həʊstɪŋ] the Olympic[əˈlɪmpɪk] Games in 2008, gaining[genɪŋ] world recognition[rekəg'nɪʃ(ə)n] , plus[plʌs] the launching['lɔːntʃɪŋ] of the Shenzhou Spacecraft['speɪskrɑːft] and its successful[sək'sesfʊl] return[rɪ'tɜːn] to the earth[ɜːθ].Following['fɒləʊɪŋ] the above[ə'bʌv], on September[sep'tembə] 3rd[θɜːd] 2015 we proudly['praʊdli] displayed[dis'pleid] a military['mɪlɪt(ə)rɪ] parade[pə'reɪd] in Beijing to the world. I am the future['fjuːtʃə] of our motherland['mʌðəlænd], my ideal[aɪ'dɪəl] is to be a building['bɪldɪŋ]

And I also try to learn math well and read more books during['djʊərɪŋ] my spare[speə] time in order['ɔːdə] to expand[ɪk'spænd] my knowledge['nɒlɪdʒ] and develop[dɪ'veləp] keen[kiːn] observation[ɒbzə'veɪʃ(ə)n] ability[ə'bɪlɪtɪ] and improve[ɪm'pruːv] the art[ɑːt] level['lev(ə)l].I know it will be a long way to go, but there is no gains['ɡeɪnz] without[wɪð'aʊt] pains[peɪnz]. I believe as long as I try my best there is nothing impossible[ɪm'pɒsɪb(ə)l] and my dream will come true one day, and by then I can come up with beautiful house designs to improve[ɪm'pruːv] people’s living['lɪvɪŋ] environment[ɪn'vaɪrənm(ə)nt], making the city better. 每当我们坐在宽敞明亮的教室聆听老师讲课的时候，谁还能想起我们现在和平、安宁的生活是多么地来之不易，谁还能想起在那些战火纷飞的年代，国家动荡、百姓颠沛流离、又有多少抗战英雄为了捍卫祖国献出了宝贵的生命。
Whilst sitting in the bright and spacious classroom I often wonder how many of us have actually given a thought to those people who in the past have given the ultimate sacrifice in the cause of resistance against foreign invasion to bring us the happy and peaceful life many of us experience today in Modern China.

Today, our motherland stands out as a world leader in many fields, we had the honor of hosting the Olympic Games in 2008, gaining world recognition , plus the launching of the Shenzhou Spacecraft and its successful return to the earth. Following the above, on September 3rd 2015 we proudly displayed a military parade in Beijing to the world. I am the future of our motherland, my ideal is to be a building designer. To fulfill that, solid foundation of basic skills of drawing is needed, so usually, I like to draw some pictures of big houses after finishing my homework. And I also try to learn math well and read more books during my spare time in order to expand my knowledge and develop keen observation ability and improve the art level. I know it will be a long way to go, but there is no gains without pains. I believe as long as I try my best there is nothing impossible and my dream will come true one day, and by then I can come up with beautiful house designs to improve people’s living environment, making the city better. So I will continue to remember our history and to treasure and cherish our forbears that made China what it is today! I will continue to work hard to fulfill my dream for a prosperous homeland.
