摘要：Disclosed is an ink ribbon for thermal sublimation transfer process having inklayer(s) (2) and thermally-transferable image-protecting layer(s) (3) separately formed onone and the same surface of a substrate (1). The ink layer(s) (2) contains/contain a
releasing resin, preferably a silicone-modified polyvinyl acetal resin, as the binder. The inkribbon is applicable even to printing paper that has not been made releasable or hasbeen made releasable but only slightly, while preventing the hot-sealing of the inkribbon to the printing paper. The thermally-transferable image-protecting layer(s) of theink ribbon is/are uniformly transferred onto the dye-receiving layer of printing paper.
