系太原组、山西组,具有较高经济价值的可采煤层主要为太原组2#、5#煤层$其中5#煤层为全区可开采稳定煤 层,该煤层平均厚度约12 m,具有埋藏浅、无夹石、储量大、经济价值可观的特点。矿区内煤层自燃点分布广泛,
由此产生的巨大氧化热能使原始山体植被破坏殆尽,生物群落几近消亡。煤层燃烧释放出大量CO、CO2、SO2、
H2S等有毒、有害气体,给周边环境带来一系列的危害$为保护汾河源区生态环境,该煤矿已闭坑停产,并计划实施矿山生态环境恢复治理。拟通过地质灾害综合治 理、生态景观再造与植被恢复等一系列工程措施,彻底消除矿区煤层自燃灾害和地质灾害隐患,恢复矿区生态基
