Dialogue 3 Love
A: Good afternoon. Why don’t we go to the cinema tonight?
B: I’d love to. But I must accompany my girl friend.
A: Oh, you have a girl friend? Congratulations! What of her?
B: Well, in my eye, she is beautiful, shy and kindness.
A: Ur, you are falling in love, don’t you?
B: Yes, maybe.
A: Are you in love at first sight?
B: Not exactly, she is my classmate. And she often helps me with my math. Then I fell in love with her character.
A: Oh, your friendship blossomed into love!
B: But I’m not sure the feeling between us is true love or not.
A: Don’t worry. I think the true love is trust, dedication and considerate. It is what you need firmly, not because of she is beautiful. It is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other everyday.
B: I agree with you. So what elements do you think can lead to a perfect romantic relationship?
A: Um, just like you and your girl friend, you help each other and you love her character not only her face. You know, not everyone can find love, find a soul mate. It is really a long way to go.
B: yeah. After all, love is everything it’s cracked up to be. That’s why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don’t risk everything, you risk even more.
